She’s tried her hand on primetime ABC reality hits “The Bachelor” and “Dancing With the Stars” – but now, Melissa Rycroft is headed to a much earlier gig. Melissa will be joining ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Access Hollywood has confirmed. Sources have told Access Melissa will be working as a “special contributor” during the summer, doing “maybe eight or 10 pieces” for the popular morning show.

It's amazing," Melissa Rycroft says. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be part of 'Good Morning America.' GMA is an opportunity I'm grateful for and I hope I don't disappoint anybody."

"My life has changed, literally, in almost every aspect," Melissa Rycroft says about her sudden rise to fame. "I love it, I enjoy it -- it's funny because I never dreamed about it, but I have no complaints. It's an opportunity of a lifetime."

Her reports, filed from the field, are expected to involve fun, uplifting types of stories for ABC's morning show. Rycroft, who also finished third on last season's "Dancing With the Stars," will contribute about eight to ten reports to "GMA" and we can't wait to see them!
