Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal are set to marry. The actor has proposed to the former 'Charlie's Angels' star - whose anal cancer has spread to her liver - and the pair are keen to tie the knot as soon as possible. Ryan - who has a 24-year-old son, Redmond, with Farrah - said in a TV interview with Barbara Walters: "I've asked her to marry me, again, and she's agreed. "Farrah is fighting for her life. But we will wed as soon as she can, say yes. Maybe we can just nod her head. "I promise you, we will. Absolutely."

Ryan, 68, says he has never felt the need to marry his long-term love until now. Ryan O'Neal added: "I used to ask her to marry me all the time. But it just got to be a joke, you know. We just joked about it."

Regarding dress for the ceremony when he marries Farrah Fawcett, a still-jocular Ryan O'Neal plans to look "like a gigolo. You know? And a little thin mustache and slicked-back hair. I don't know. We have fun, we tease about that."
