"Okay, how obvious is choosing Staying Alive the week after you almost got eliminated? But that's what Matt Giraud does. He tries to downplay the disco in favor of more horn-band funk. It gives him plenty of opportunities for vocal runs and falsetto notes, but it's not nearly up to the best performances of the night, especially when it comes right after Adam. And his run at the end is pretty shoddy. He could be really vulnerable, especially if the judges thrash him..."
