T.R. Knight: Grey’s Anatomy
T.R. Knight has officially been released from his contract with the ABC program “Grey’s Anatomy,” according to several reports. Read more about the story, plus check out pictures and video here.

Rumors have been floating around for sometime that T.R. Knight would be leaving “Grey’s Anatomy.” Now the rumors have been confirmed. It was first reported by Entertainment Weekly that the Actor would be let out of his contract early. Feeling gratitude towards the cast and crew of the hit ABC show, Knight said in a statement that:
“Leaving ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ was not an easy decision for me to make. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to play this character and will miss my fellow cast and crew very much. I continue to wish them the very best, and wholeheartedly thank all of the fans who have supported me and the show with such passion and enthusiasm.”
Talk of Knight’s departure was originally sparked by his discontent with his diminishing storylines, and his involvement or lack there of in the show. Although, “Grey’s Anatomy” creator, Shonda Rhimes, stated that the twist at the end of the season finale episode was “necessary,” when the John Doe who was struck by a bus turned out to be George. She also went on to say that everyone involved with the show will miss Knight, and that they wish him “the best in his future endeavors”.
