Picture perfect beauty, Keishla Villafane Rivera, was stripped of her Miss Puerto Rico Petite title on Friday after she was deemed intolerable by patient officials. There are claims that the beauty queen used “coarse language,” made assault threats towards staff members, and that she dishonored her contract by allowing her image to be used in an advertisement without first receiving permission from the pageant.
Villafane nor her attorney Maribel Vidal has yet to comment on the situation.
Libni Garcia, a spokeswoman for the pageant turned down an interview with “The Associated Press” to make the details of the accusations publicly known, telling them that there will be more information revealed in the lawsuit that the company intends to file against Villafane.
Garcia did mention that the problems began with the former queen soon after she took the crown last August, saying:
“We were trying to handle this conduct of hers, but it was impossible; it was constant.”
Tamara Perez, a competitor in last year’s Miss Puerto Rico Petite pageant will take the place of Keishla Villafane Rivera until next years competition in August.
