Jake Golic, Notre Dame's Next Great Hope

Tight End Jake Golic is going to Notre Dame, following the family tradition and hoping to turn around the franchise that's gone through some hard times after a storied history (to the delight of their many haters.)
First it was Jake Golic father & uncles, then hisbrother Mike Golic. Saturday, Jake Golic became a part of the Notre Dame family with a scholarship offer from Notre Dame and committed on the spot. The 6-foot-4, 202-pound tight end Jake Golic from Hartford, Conn., is the first commitment in Notre Dame's recruiting class of 2009.
