Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Oscars boycott Anne Hathaway?

Apparently Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are not too excited about Anne Hathaway hosting the Oscars this year. In fact they're so offended they might not even attend.

Their beef with Anne stems from her appearance on SNL not too lnog ago, where she appeared in a skit poking fun at Katie Holmes. You'd think they'd be able to take a few friendly lumps, from a show well known for parodying all sorts of celebs, but it seems they are going the Kanye West route and taknig deep offense at the gall.

According toa NY Post source: "Tom and Katie don't want to have to cross paths with Anne," the Mail quoted a source as saying. "They used to be friends and took Anne to a Tina Turner concert in 2008 when Anne split up from her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri. Katie feels they were really supporting at a difficult time so she feels let down that Anne took to national TV to make fun of her,"

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards is gearing up to be the most star-studded event of the year, but one couple who may be noticeably absent is Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, whose beef with hostess Anne Hathaway may keep them from the show, FOXNews.com reported Monday. According to a report from the UK's Daily Mail, Cruise and Holmes are so furious at Hathaway that they want to avoid any confrontation with her. Hathaway, 28, appeared on "Saturday Night Live" in November and mimicked Holmes in a sketch. She spoke in breathy tones and took long pauses while tucking her hair behind her ear in the parody of Holmes.
