A startling report on 60 Minutes last night, as Cheryl Eckard was interviewed about the pharmaceutical industry's alleged unethical practices that may have put the public's health at risk.

Cheryl Eckard was the whistleblower who worked at Glaxo and gave a tip about the insafe practices she saw, that made it possibly or drugs and medicine to be put into the market with unsafe bacteria and other issues.

Said Cheryl about the conditions at the drug company: "All the systems were broken, the facility was broken, the equipment was broken, the processes were broken. Kate Moss Album Details

The latest celebrity to try her hand at making an album is Kate Moss, who will share her music with the world in 2011.

Moss will be recording with her latest rock star boyfriend, Jamie Hince from The Kills, and is expected to rock out much like his band does. She has also of course gone out with Pete Doherty of the Babyshambles. She has done a luttle singing for other bands too.

So many unlikely people have had hit records, and so much of making a pop hit is having the right charisma and look and style, there's no reason to think Kate Moss doesn't have a shot at making a hit CD, and even selling lots of concert tickets.

Kate Moss has spent the past three decades making her presence known on the runway and through her fashion forward designs for Topshop, but the star isn't done adding to her resume just yet. The supermodel is currently working on an album with Kills guitarist and boyfriend Jamie Hince. This isn't Moss' first foray into the music world, however -- during her relationship with Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty, Moss co-wrote four songs for the band and performed on one of Doherty's tracks.

Lindsay Lohan First Tweet of 2011: Gandhi!

Lindsay Lohan is starting off this new year inside a rehab clinic where she is (hopefully) getting help for her drug addiction and other issues. But that's not stopping the once a-list actress from keeping a positive outlook in 2011!

Lohan's optimistic energy was revealed in her first tweet of 2011, where she quoted none other than Mahatma Gandhi. Lohan is finishing up her stay at the Betty Ford Center on January 3rd, after several months getting their epert treatment and therapy, and hopefully making the most out of it. as she prepares for her release, she said on twitter "Today is the first day of the rest of my life 'The future depends on what we do in the present.' -Mahatma Gandhi... One step at a time...."

Here's hoping she can walk that path!

As she counts down the final hours to her long-awaited release from rehab on Jan. 3, Lindsay Lohan (sentenced to court-ordered treatment at the Betty Ford Center in Southern California since October) logged on to Twitter to declare a whole new LiLo mantra for 2011. As recently as late December, the 24-year-old seemed to be in more hot water yet again, when a Betty Ford employee (since terminated) accused Lohan of assault, after the actress returned to the facility from a bar in the wee hours of the morning. No charges have been filed.

As Hugh Hefner starts up the charade of yet another "marriage" to a beautiful blonde haired woman 1/4th of his age, the Playboy magazine founder has invested deeply in the farce buy buying a $90,000 engagement ring from some lucky jeweler.

The diamond jewelry is sure to bring lots of attention to this latest publicity stunt masquerading as a relationship. The aptly named Crystal Harris showed off her sparkly jewels in a tweet this week, showing her diamond ring with pride for all who care to follow this triviality.

According to one jewelry appraiser, this ring is noatable beacuse "the round center gives the ring a classic style, while micro pave makes it more modern and youthful," After puportedly dating since the beginning 2009 will be Hefner's third marriage, and Crystal's first. "Panda Cow" Born in Colorado

A natural wonder in Larimer County Colorado, as a miniature cow has been born with the rare markings that make up a cow known as a "panda cow."

The calf was named Ben, and has black and white marks that make him resemble a cute little panda bear. This is a rare occurance for a cow and makes him quite a prized farm animal. Reportedly there are less than 25 of these in the entire world.

The owner of Ben the Panda Cow also has a rare miniature Kangaroo on his land, which is a hobby farm and not something he runs as a business. But he will certainly get lots of attention for this rare and beautiful bit of livestock!

A rare miniature cow with markings similar to a panda bear was born on a farm in northern Colorado. The so-called "panda cow" born in Larimer County is thought to be one of only about 24 in the world. The (Loveland) Reporter-Herald reports the male calf named Ben was born Friday morning. His mother is a Lowline Angus cow. Farmer Chris Jessen raises miniature cattle and also owns a miniature kangaroo on his hobby farm.

Witchcraft Legal in Romania?

Witchcraft has always been a controversial topic, with many people fearing the practice, and most people not even being clear on what it is exactly. But in the country of Romania witches has taken a great step forward in their civil rights (and employment opportunieis), as the European country of Romania has now ruled that witchcraft is a legal profession to be practiced in their land.

Witches can now join in with astrologists and driving instructors to count in Romania's labot laws as legitimate jobs, which is possibly bad news for those who practice these trades as the new classificatio makes them more susceptible to income tax investigations.

A controversial decision has come in a court case involving the death of a young man in Illinois, who was shot after his dog peed on another man's lawn.

The killer, Charles Clements, is 69 years old and took great pride in his award winning lawn. After the younger man let his dog pee on the lawn, an argument ensued, the details of which have not been reported as far as I have seen, but at one point Clements allegently showed a gun and then put it back in his pocket, after which the young man punched him, and he then redrew his gun and fired.

Clements' lawyers succeeded in getting a second-degree murder conviction that only resulted in probation and not jail time.

Ohio Boy Charged, Killing Mother (UPDATE)

Shock and horror as a ten year old boy is now in police custody, charged with killing his own mother in Big Prairie Ohio.

The mother was found having been shot in the head, and the young son soon confessed to killing her, in a harrowing criminal court case that will have lawyers, judges and child welfare experts struggling over the right thing to do.

The boy is now being held at a juvenile detention center, where he will be assessed by mental health experts and couonselors who will determine how he should be dealt with and what would lead a child to do this to his own mother.


A 10-year-old boy was charged Monday with murder, a crime nearly unheard of at such a young age, after authorities said he told a neighbor about the killing. Paramedics found Deborah McVay, 46, of Big Prairie, lying facedown in her living room Sunday night, dead of a single gunshot wound to her head, Holmes County Sheriff Tim Zimmerly said. Authorities went to the home after a neighbor called a dispatcher to say McVay's son had come to her home and confessed to shooting his mother.

Sad relationship news for two past and present Hollywood favorites, as Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis have reportedly split up, according to the celebrity gossip sources.

The NY Post's infamous Page Six has reported that Kunis and Culkin have split amicablt after a whopping seven years together. According to the sources quoted in the piece, their relationship hit a rough patch because Mila's career has been hitting new heights while Culkin's is relatively dormant, which in addition to the two competing energies means that she is often away from his current home of NYC.

Sorry to the hear the news but hopefully it works out for the best, for both of them. How weird it must be to have your relationship circumstances become news.

"The split was amicable, and they remain close friends," Kunis's rep confirms to the New York Post's Page Six. Golden Globe nominee Kunis, 27, and Culkin, 30, began dating seven years ago, while she was still appearing on the Fox series "That '70s Show." An insider recently told In Touch Weekly that the pair hit a rough patch because of Kunis's skyrocketing career and the fact that she lives in L.A., while Culkin is based in New York.

Angelina Jolie: $2 Million Wildlife Splurge

Angelina Jolie is known for trying to make the world a better place, and she is taking her philanthropy to new heights this year with a gigantic $2 million donation to a sanctuary for threatened animals in Africa.

The sanctuary, in the country of Namibia, is known as the Nannkuse Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary, in the same country where their daughter Shioh was born. Jolie said about the great work done by the institution, "We continue to be impressed by their hard work and dedication to the people and conservation of the land and wildlife of Namibia."

Angelina and her husband and Brad Pitt have stayed at the top of the A-List for years now, and Jolie's Salt DVD has been a big seller, although The Tourist with Johnny Depp has failed to live up to hopes.

May 21, 2011: Judgment Day. Seriously.

According to some who have been studying this, the Judgment Day that has always been foretold is soon upon us, as soon as May 21st of 2011 to be exact. Are you ready?

A movement of Christian believers is firmly committed to the belief that less than 6 months from now the world as we know it will end, and they are doing their best to spread the word.

Said one believer in the prophecy, "A lot of people might think, 'The end's coming, let's go party. But we're commanded by God to warn people. I wish I could just be like everybody else, but it's so much better to know that when the end comes, you'll be safe."

So if the world is truly ending in 2011 what are we supposed to do? Party like it's 1999? That part doesn't seem to be clear, at least from the article below. But if you want to see their reasoning in more detail see below!

Couple Weds, Take Chilly Plunge (PICS)

One couple in Philadelphia has found a creative way to make their marriage vows stick, one that no wedding planner would ever come up with: they're saying "I do," then taking a dive into icy cold waters along with the Polar Bear Club.

Their wedding made lots of news, as they got married on a water taxi on the fateful date of 1-1-11, and then diving into the freezing cold water along with hundreds of other Polar Bear Club members who each year engage in the daredevil activity.

Many couples like to do something special for their wedding, or have a very special wedding party, but its not often that people do something that sounds so, well unpleasant! Then again, perhaps this will make their marital bliss that much sweeter!

Judy Herilla and Adam Lipinski were among hundreds of members of the Pittsburgh Polar Bear Club who jumped into the Monongahela River on New Year's Day. Sgt. Matthew Neu and Threat Against the President

A Sergeant in Florida has been suspended and is now being investigated, for what some think was a threat against the president, in the form of a prayer.

The corrections officer, Sgt. Matthew Neu, was suspended by the sheriff's office after he gave a co-worker a highlighted psalm from the Bible, that has apparently become known to some as "The Obama Prayer."

The note allegedly highlighted two verses, "Let his days be few, and let another take his office." and "May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow," which his co-worker took as evidence that Sgt. Neu wishes the President were dead. Certainly a frightening message to be sending, for a presidency that has stirred up so many fears that an assassination attempt could take place.

A Manatee County corrections officer has been suspended without pay over an incident involving a Bible and a perceived threat against President Obama. Corrections Sgt. Matthew Neu was suspended for 25.8 hours for conduct unbecoming of a deputy or employee, a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report said. Neu circled a verse from Psalms that has been called the "Obama Prayer" that he found on the Internet and left the Bible on the desk of another corrections sergeant, Martha Nash, the report said. Nash found the marked Bible and a handwritten note that said "The Obama Prayer" on her desk when she came to work at the Manatee County Jail on Sept. 29.

Oprah Fans Upset to Pay for OWN!

Oprah Winfrey's new TV network is already soarking lots of discussion, but not all of it is positive! There's a growing rebellion among at least some of her fans, as they discover her channel doesn't always come with their basic cable package.

Oprah's OWN net work debuted this weekend, but in many markets is only a part of more premium packages that cost $15 or so more per month to get extra special channels. On Oprah's message boards fans have been raising a stink, complaining that they cannot afford these additional fees.

But as others have pointed out, her fans have always paid for Oprah Winfrey books, Oprah magazine and other such things, so why should they resist paying a bit for her now much expanded tv offering?

Controversy in Romania as new classes of people have now been targeted for income tax collection, including witches and fortune tellers, who perviously had not been considered traditional jobs or professions that had taxable income.

The move comes as Romania continues trying to crack down on income tax evasion in their financially struggling country. Astrology and embalming are two other professions that will now have to seek tax advice.

One representative of the new taxpayers said "This law is foolish. What is there to tax, when we hardly earn anything? The lawmakers don't look at themselves, at how much they make, their tricks; they steal and they come to us asking us to put spells on their enemies."

1 Arrested, Arizona Mall Shooting

A terrible tragedy was barely averted yesterday, as an attempting mall shooting ended with no serious injuries, and the quick arrest of the shooter.

The gunfire that was exchanged between officers and the suspect lasted for some time, but thankfully caused no actual shootings, and authorities were able to apprehend the shooter and reopen the mall soon after. The gunman had entered the Baja Fresh restaurant in the mall, and began shooting,and the food court was immediately evacuated.

Said one witness about the confusion that ensued, "People said they killed somebody, that the guy was down, and then all of a sudden there was another suspect and he was blending in with the crowd. Then they made us evacuate more and we thought he was outside with us,"

A shootout at an upscale shopping center in suburban Phoenix sent shoppers fleeing and prompted a mall lockdown Wednesday as the suspect who had exchanged gunfire with officers holed up in a fast food restaurant, authorities said. The suspect surrendered Wednesday afternoon and no injuries were reported, officials said. Hours after the noon-hour parking lot gunbattle, authorities reopened the Chandler Fashion Center following a search that had been made to confirm only one suspect was involved in both the shooting and the standoff. "Thankfully, nobody was shot and nobody got hurt," Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo said.

Clooney: 'Excitement' for Sudan Peace

After Decades of horrible strife, The country of Sudan may be close to finding peace, and among the many feeling excitement about this prospect is actor George Clooney, who has worked for years using his celebrity to draw attention to this issue.

Said Clooney bout the hopes for a new era of peace in the war-torn African country, "For the first time since I've been here, there's a real excitement here that there's a feeling that a new nation is going to be formed. It's inevitable and I think everyone is very excited about that. We're all optimistic, I don't think there's many people who thought that the government of South Sudan would be able to put together a coalition of many of their past enemies and to put this together to make it work"

The "Up in the Air" star has been involved in Sudan for years, having campaigned actively against violence in Darfur, western Sudan. He co-founded a group called Not On Our Watch with actors Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and others. It's devoted to halting atrocities around the world. At the end of December, Clooney also launched a satellite surveillance project in the country to help monitor violence during the January vote. The program will use satellite images to assess the situation on the ground for any signs of conflict, monitor hotspots in real time and post the findings online. "The idea we had is to be one of many tools to monitor specifically troop movements and humanitarian issues along the border where it's really disputed and where the real danger lies," Clooney said.

In a wedding guaranteed to warm the hearts of absolutely nobody, John Edwards and Rielle Hunter are reportedly getting ready to marry this summer, only months after Edwards' longtime wife Elizabeth passed away.

According to the Enquirer, who of course first broke the news of their affair long before anyone else believed it, Edwards and Hunter have been planning a summer wedding for a while now. Critics note that the tabloid made a similar report a year ago of plans that never came to pass, but only time will tell if a wedding planner was brought in to bring these two people together. Whatever happens, they probably need to be together because who else would want to be with either of them?

John Edwards has reportedly asked mistress Rielle Hunter to marry him, according to tabloid magazine The National Enquirer.

The Hollywood Gossip has a screenshot of the latest issue of the Enquirer, the publication that broke the original story about Edwards's liaison with Hunter, his campaign videographer, and predicts that the two might tie the knot this summer, if at all.

While the Enquirer gained some credibility for its coverage of the Edwards affair, it is worth noting that they posted nearly the exact same story regarding an Edwards-Hunter nuptial and a "luxury $3.5 million beachfront home" last year, a report that was later denied.

Jared Lee Loughner, Shooting Suspect (UPDATES)

Who was this man, Jared Lee Loughner, that allegedly carried out the unthinkable shooting today in Tuscon Arizona?

Details are emerging that portray Loughner as a very unstable 22 year old, who had obsessive political opinions and was emotionally unstable, according to those who knew him especially at the college he attended.

According to the NY Times, Loughner's erratic behavior "prompted school administrators to call in Mr. Loughner's parents and tell them that their son had been suspended and would have to get a mental health evaluation to return to college. Instead, he dropped out in October, a spokesman for the college said." For more info see below, as updates continue coming in.

Who is Jared Lee Loughner, the young man who allegedly carried out the unthinkable shooting today in Tuscon Arizona?

Details are emerging that portray Loughner as a very unstable 22 year old, who had obsessive political opinions and was emotionally unstable, according to those who knew him especially at the college he attended. Some of the most disturbing and mysterious clues about this obviously troubled young man can be seen on his youtube page, which is currently still visible under the username "classitup10"

The videos consist only of text, and are basically a series of incoherent rambling, about "grammatical structure," "conscience dreaming" and various things about mind control and the gold standard. Nothing in the videos gives any clear indication that Jared Lee Loughner was on the left or the right in any traditional sense. He seems simply not to be rational, to put it bluntly. American Renaissance Denies DHS Affiliation, Shooting Suspect

As America struggles to understand the horrific shooting in Arizona, Fox News has indicated that the DHS might think shooting suspect Jared Lee Loughner may have some affiliation to a hate group named the American Renaissance.

The group, whose website is widely categorized as hate speech (it is blocked by the public network I am currently on), has denied that Loughner had any link to them, but a Fox News report suiggested the Department of Homeland Security is investigating whether the young man was a follower of the group or may have been inspired, when he purchased his firearms, a glock from the local sporting goods store, and planned to assassinate the congresswoman.

The feds are reportedly probing whether shooting suspect Jared Lee Loughner has ties to an anti-Semitic, anti-government hate group that has ads for tea party organizations on its website. 1. One of the oldest rumors that persists to this day is the story that Walt Disney had himself cryogenically frozen, so that he could be brought back to live when medical care had improved in the future and they knew how to do this. There is of course no evidence of this, or indication that the technology was available at the time he died, but it sounds cool.

2. Another legend that has been around for decades is that there was once a relationship, or at least a fling, between the two rock superstars Mick Jagger and David Bowie. This story has been spread partly by Bowie's own wife at the time Angela Bowie, but Bowie and the Rolling Stones lead man Jagger still deny it ever happened. TV viewers will know Maksim Chmerkovskiy as one of the sexy dancers from Dancing With The Stars, a former partner of Brandy Norwood and "Scary Spice" Mel B, among others. But now Maksim will be starting a reality show of his very own, when he becomes the leading man in a new season of The Bachelor. There's one catch though: it will be a local version of The Bachelor in his home country, the Ukraine.

Chmerkovskiy said on his website he was actually offered the American version of The Bachelor and turned it down, because "There has never been a show such as this in Ukraine and it makes me think that a first season would be the most 'real' as far as participant's perception of 'what its all about' is concerned. Ed Reed's Brother Missing

A sad and scary story in Louisiana, where the brother of the Baltimore Ravens NFL player Ed Reed is reported missing after he was runnin gfrom police and jumped into the Mississippi River.

According to authorities, "The suspect jumped into the river, went about 15 feet according to the deputy, At some particular point they said he did witness hands and head come up and go under the water and never resurface again."

Ed Reed and his family are said to be distraught, but still hoping for a miracle and striving to go on, as Reed said his brother would want him to go out there and play. His team the Ravens came out with a victory in the playoffs this week. Whatever the reasons, a terrible tragedy for the Reed family.

The 29-year-old brother of Ravens safety Ed Reed is missing after jumping into the Mississippi River in Louisiana. Officers from the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office had been pursuing Brian Reed in St. Rose, La., on Friday, WWLTV.com in New Orleans reported. The man was seen jumping into the river at about 10 a.m. Deputies say they saw Brian Reed jump into the river, go underwater and disappear, the website reported.

Fake Lawyer Tahir Malik, Busted!

A fake lawyer named Tahir Malik has been arrested and charged with impersonating an Attorney, but not after he successfully conned people into letting him work on over 60 cases in court!

According to authorities Malik learned about the legal system through his own troubles with the law and legal advice he got from his on attorneys. "From his own arrest history, he was familiar enough with the court system to make certain motions and file certain documents in the court."

Also according to hid dad Malik watched a lot of court shows on TV. At the Cook County Courthouse his behavior was found to be suspicious, and they looked into what his credentials are to practice law, and it turned out he was not an attorney at all.

Brazil brothers charged with burying father alive: father was "a violent man who drank too much and didn't accept their homosexuality"?

In a horrifying story, two brother in Brazil stand accused of killing their father, in an unthinkable tragedy.

The two men are under arrest after allegedly using over the counter sleeping pills to knock their father out, and then burying him alive. Goodness gracious. The two young men confessed, but indicated that their father was abusive, and that he was a violent man especially when drinking too much alcohol, and some anngry outbursts may have been caused by the father not accepting his sons' homosexuality

A terrible story whatever the details turn out to be, hopefully the courts, attorneys and mental health experts will sort it all out and bring some semblance of justice.

Two brothers were charged with killing their father, a local Afro-Brazilian religious leader, by knocking him out with sleeping pills and then burying him alive, investigators told a Brazilian news website. Antonio Valente Filho, chief of police of Timon, in Maranhao state, told Globo TV's G1 website that the brothers, ages 18 and 21, confessed this week to planning the murder. Holding up a financial affidavit, Anderson asked the Loughner, "I can't read your signature. I know how hard it is to sign with handcuffs on. Did you sign this?" One Great Burger beef recall (UPDATE)

A potentially major health issue in the news today, as a huge amount of beef is being recalled after inspections found the meat may pose a serious health risk to anyone who eats it.

The beef may not be an issue for regular consumers, though, as the company that distributes it is primarily a source for food at public institutions like jails and prisons. In fact the company, Onegreat Bugger, says all of the meat in question went to prisons and none is on sale for the general public, so there should not be any medical concerns for regular shoppers. Hopefully it will be easier to keep anyone from eating it since the meat was all sent to facilities that can catch it in time. Prisoners shouldn't be poisoned either!

More than 200,000 pounds of ground beef products sent to prisons in Oregon and California are being recalled after an inspection found they may be spoiled. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says products from One Great Burger in Elizabeth, N.J., were discolored and smelled wrong. The products came in 20 pound boxes of Onegreat Hamburgers, with the item number 02044 and the establishment number 34575. The products have packed-on dates between July and November 2010 and were distributed to institutions in California and Oregon.

Tough times for Myspace, as they are cutting half of their staff as they continue trying to stay alive in the post Facebook era.

The website was once the dominant social media destination but has since been eclipsed and practically rendered irrelevant by Facebook. But they have been trying to reinvent themselves as a music and video destination, capitalizing on their continued usage as a home base for musical artists, especially up and coming acts who offer a chance to hear their music on the site.

but since this is a smaller focus it was inevitable that the company would have to make major cuts, and now lots of people will find themselves out on the job market again, looking for employment opportunities in this struggling economy.

MySpace will reportedly lay off more than half of its employees on Tuesday as the website scales back its social networking ambitions. All Things D reports that the layoffs could extend to 600 people (of the site's current staff of 1,000). MySpace will reportedly spin the news as "restructuring" to shed "legacy" products. After that, News Corp. will set to work on selling the site--perhaps even to Yahoo--All Things D reports. (Although I'm not sure Yahoo is in the position to buy, after it abandoned search in December.) The layoffs aren't all that surprising now that MySpace has given up on competing with Facebook. In October the site announced a redesign that nearly abandoned the format of friend pages and wall posts.

Fans have been anxiously awaiting news about the new Ghostbusters 3 sequel, but the Hollywood movie project seems to have hti a snag, with reports that the movie will be a no-go without its iconic star Bill Murray.

The original director Ivan Reitman is ready to be back at the helm, and says the script is even ready, but they just need one more person to agree, and that is Mr. Murray.

Reitman says "All of the actors but one have read [the script] and loved it. We're waiting for one of them to read it and see where we are." His latest movie may be called "No Strings Attached," but it seems there are quite a few hitches involved in getting director Ivan Reitman's planned "Ghostbusters" sequel off the ground. Hirsch Buyout 450k Suleman's Mortgage

As the Octomom nadya Suleman continues struggling to support her huge family, news comes that film mogul Steve Hirsch will be covering her 450k mortgage for her, if the agreement is settled on by the mortgage holder.

The man who holds the mortgage, has been threatening to kick Suleman out, but now Steve Hirsch who runs the movie company is volunteering to foot the bill and settle the debt, so that Suleman would be able to continue living there and not have to find new real estate brokers to set up a home for her unusual living conditions.

Nadya Suleman has repeatedly reported her refusals to appear in a movie for the mortgage buyer, and there is no indication that she will repay his favor by doing movies for him now, but that is not yet entirely clear. Either way, here's hoping they can keep a roof over the heads of all those kids.

Green Hornet Actor Held by Cops

Edward Furlong, best known for his young appearance in the Terminator movies, is in the news again but not for such happy reasons. Just as he prepares to return to the spotlight in the Green Hornet movie, the actor is in the news for being held by police.

Furlong was allegedly detained for violating a restraining order put in place by his estranged wife, Rachael Kneeland. Furlong's wife filed for divorce last year, and divorce lawyers are battling it out in family court over their irreconcilable differences.

Marital counseling and therapy were apparently not an option, so hopefully they can make the split as amicalbe as possible from here on out, for the sake of their other friends and loves ones.

"Terminator 2: Judgment Day" actor Edward Furlong has been arrested on Tuesday, for allegedly violating court orders, media reports. "The Green Hornet" actor was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from his wife Rachael Kneeland but the law enforcement officials said that he violated the order, and he was in the court as well for hearing. However, the actor was being held on $75,000 bail. The prosecutors said that "The Green Hornet" star, reportedly broke the orders of the court by coming within 50 yards of his wife, Rachael Kneeland, last month. Hirsch Buyout 450k Suleman's Mortgage (UPDATE)

As the Octomom nadya Suleman continues struggling to support her huge family, news comes that a film mogul will be covering her 450k mortgage for her, if the agreement is settled on by the mortgage holder.

The man who holds the mortgage, named Haddadin, has been threatening to kick Suleman out, but now Steve Hirsch who runs the movie company is volunteering to foot the bill and settle the debt, so that Suleman would be able to continue living there and not have to find new real estate brokers to set up a home for her unusual living conditions.

The producer, Hirsch, has now confirmed he will pay what is due for February and prevent the family from getting evicted, and they are negotiationg a payment of the rest of the $450,000/.

"Octomom" Nadya Suleman and her 14 children could avoid being evicted from their suburban home if the mortgage holder cuts a deal with a movie kingpin. After giving Suleman repeated warnings to pay the $450,000 that's due or get out, Amer Haddadin said he's now considering an offer from movie studio co-founder to foot the bill. In a very funny but very sad story, the rapper Gucci Mane continues to exhibit serious mental health issues, as he went straight from getting institutionalized into a tatoo parlor to get a bizarre huge facial tattoo of an ice cream cone with lightning bolts coming out of it.

Gucci Mane has had serious legal troubles for some time, as well as being checked into a mental health facility just this month, but as soon as he got back out he went to get this outlandish tattoo. Fans and bloggers are having a field day making fun of the absurd tattoo, but many who know the situation are saying it's actually not very funny since Gucci really is having real problems, and needs serious help from psychiatric professionals. He probably needs full-time care to get himself back together, and to be out of the spotlight.

Mindy Lawton: Jail Time?

One of the many alleged mistresses in the Tiger Woods marital infidelity scandal, Mindy Lawton, is back in the news for an even worse reason: she might be going to jail. Lawton is being sentenced for a drunk driving arrest, which led to a conviction a year ago.

The accident left another driver with numerous injuries, a very serious situation that everyone should avoid by not driving while drunk. Your car insurance rates will skyrocket, and you will have those injuries, or worse, on your conscience for the rest of your life. Don't do it.

Lawton's attorney's will try to help her as best they can, but it is a very bad situation no matter how you cut it.

They say everything old is new again, and nowhere is that more true than in the world of pop music, where lots of 1980s musicians continue to have big comebacks.

One of the most impressive comebacks from an 80s musician has been Cyndi Lauper, who reclaimed a place in everyone's hearts as a contestant on Donald Trump's infamous reality show The Apprentice. Also Jon Bon Jovi has stayed in the spotlight with his acting and other endeavours.

Another star who used reality TV to regain his place was Bret Michaels, who also competedon the Apprentice as well as starring in his own show on VH1. Bret has had major health problems recently but came back strong and won people's respect even more deeply.

Also worth noting is LL Cool J, who has stayed in the limelight thanks top his acting career after being one of the first crossover rap superstars in the 80s. And sadly, one could say that Michael Jackson, after his death, has had a huge resurgence in interest as well. If only he was around to see it!

Jim Thorpe Released From Prison on Taxes Charge

Golf great Jim Thorpe is hoping to get his life back together after spending a year in jail for failing to pay his income taxes. Thorpe failed to pay over a million dollars in taxes over the last decade, and in addition to his time in jail he will now have to pay over two million including the extra fines and levies assessed.

Thorpe will now enter two years of supervised release, and he also has to complete a full 200 hours of community service, under the deal his tax lawyers and defense attorneys worked out with the IRS for his tax debt and legal punishment..

Many resources for tax help and assistance with tax problems are available, and one can look up countless resources online especially at this time of year when income tax is due to be tallied up and collected.

Jim Thorpe was released from prison today. His release follows a prison term where he failed to pay income taxes. Thorpe was given an early release; originally sentenced to one year in prison. Thorpe pleaded guilty for failing to pay $1.6 million in taxes from 2002 to 2004 in September 2009. In 2000, he had joined the 50-and-older tour but in February 2010, he was suspended from the Champions Tour and sentenced to one year in prison. Due to his failure to pay his income taxes, he will now have to pay $2 million to the IRS plus interest and penalties.

This week on David Letterman, the infamous Jack Hanna appeared with one of the most intriguing animals he's ever brought out in his long career of talk show dates, a little creature called the Zorilla, whose claim to fame is being the smelliest animal in the world!

The Zorilla is a type of weasel, also known as a polecat, that secretes an odor through it's anal glands similar to a skunk, another animal to which it is closely related. Ted Williams Leaves Rehab Early (VIDEO)

The story of Ted Williams continues to get more uncomfortable, as the man with e golden voice leaves rehab early against his doctors' recommendations, leaving many wondering if he'll ever be able to get things back together.

After becoming an instant media sensation, the homeless man was bombarded by media offers from good samaritans hoping to make a difference in his life (in font of the cameras of course) but soon it became obviosu that someone who has such serious problems needs a different kind of help than grand media gestures can provide.

Here's hoping Ted Williams will find the support he needs to really do some long hard work on recovery from addiction, and perhaps gets into another drug rehab that he is ready to make the most of.

Ted Williams has called it quits on rehab. The "Man with the Golden Voice" left the Origins Recovery Center in South Texas against his doctors' advice, TMZ.com reported. Williams became a YouTube sensation after an Ohio reporter filmed him along a roadside waving a handwritten sign to advertise his vocal gifts in the hopes of scoring a job in radio or TV broadcast. Before he won worldwide fame, Williams had long battled alcohol and crack addictions, but claimed he had kicked the habits. Dr. Phil McGraw, as many experts did, cautioned that Williams' journey would be tough even without the drastic life changes he'd experienced in such a short time.
