Even though she died years ago, the death of Anna Nicole Smith is still causing controversy, as trail is about to begin for the doctors and attorney who are said to have mistreated Anna Nicole in the days leading up to her tragic death of a drug overdose.

The two doctors and attorney boyfriendare both facing charges as the trial starts up this month, but each deny any wrong doing, with one of the two doctors insisting he is only being persecuted for being Aisan and homosexual. He is accused of misusing is powers as a medical doctor to provide treatment that was not in the best interest of Ms. Smith. The allegation is that they illegally prescribed opiates and sedatives to the patient Anna Nicole, who tried drug rehabilitation programs to get over her addiction but sadly did not get to overcome her problems.

Attorneys were setting the stage for the trial of two doctors and the attorney boyfriend of the late Anna Nicole Smith, arguing about what evidence will be allowed in court. In a hearing Friday, defense attorneys plan to oppose the use of photos of Smith and her psychiatrist nude in a hot tub and a controversial video of Smith in clown face makeup. Prosecutors say she appears to be drugged. Other motions include prosecutors' opposition to one doctor's claim that he is being prosecuted because he is gay and East Indian.
