Country superstar Miranda Lambert is showing off a sparkly new engagement ring, as she celebrates her engagement to fiance Blake Shelton.

Said Miranda of the moment she saw the ring and accepted his proposal: "I was so proud of him, We've been together five years, so he knew exactly what I wanted but it's so much more perfect than I could have picked out myself. I'm just excited to be married, Because I want to tell Blake I really can love him the rest of my life and be happy and make him happy."

The blushing bride-to-be happily showed off her diamond-and-platinum engagement ring at the fete, playing hand-model for one lucky camera. Miranda and Blake were engaged May 9, in a surprise proposal that happened in the woods near the couple's Tishomingo, Okla. home.
