Is Pete Wentz breathing a sigh of relief this week, after his young son was in a car accident?

The pop singer and husband of Ashlee Simpson confirmed that his son was in a minor car accident, but will fully recover and wasn't seriously injured. In fact the boy, named Bronx Mowgli, was unhurt by all accounts.

Said Wentz on twitter, "Thanks you guys for your concern. no one was hurt in the car accident and bx is currently back to building forts and hiding dads cellphone." Car safety for kids is an important issue that all parents shold study and stay informed on, to make sure automobile accidents have a happy ending like this, as often as possible.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's 1-year-old son was involved in a small fender-bender in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Wentz was seen rushing to pick up Bronx, who was being cared for by a nanny when the accident occured in Cold Water Canyon. "It was a minor fender-bender, and everyone is fine," the couple's rep tells PEOPLE. Details of the incident were not immediately available.
