A waitress in North Carolina just got fired, for complaining about a bad tip on Facebook!

The young woman, Ashley Johnson age 22, had to stay on the job an extra hour waiting on a couple that stayed 3 hours at their table, and then gave her a $5 tip at the end of the night (No word on what the amount of the check was, an important detail.)

The next day Johnson blasted the couple on her Facebook page, mentioning the restaurant by name in her rant. The restaurant's management then found out about it and fired her for violating their policy against bad-mouthing customers on the internet. Hopefully those people will still remember to tip better next time!

A North Carolina waitress is out of a job after griping on her Facebook page about the $5 tip she got from a couple who sat at their table for three hours. The waitress says the customers kept her at work an hour after she was supposed to clock out. The Charlotte Observer reported Monday that 22-year-old Ashley Johnson felt slighted after waiting on the couple at Brixx Pizza. So she blasted the couple on Facebook, calling them cheap and mentioning the restaurant by name.
