Ricky Gervais Life's Too Short (VIDEO)

The Uk's great comedy genius Ricky Gervais is coming back to television once again with a new series for the BBc. But this time he'll be switching things up again, and playing the background as he lets another actor be the big star.

The lead role in this new show will go to famous dwarf actor from the UK, Warwick Davis, who's been in many classic films from Willow on to Harry Potter, and who will now be seen in his own day to day life and the trials and travails he faces. Gervais and his also hilarious partner Stephen Merchant will have minor roles onscreen, while masterminding the project just as they did both on Extras and the original (and still best) version of The Office.

Expect the show to come to BBC2 this year, and hopefully to America soon after that! Although it will probably be around online quickly as well, one way or another.

The Office" creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant have unveiled a new BBC2 comedy project called "Life's Too Short." The show centers on Warwick Davis, Britain's pre-eminent dwarf actor and star of box office hit franchises including "Star Wars" and "Harry Potter," with Gervais and Merchant appearing on screen in minor roles. The observational comedy follows Warwick in his day-to-day life, complete with the frustrations he faces, in his first major role for the BBC. "Pound for pound he is one of the funniest men I know," said Gervais.
