Prince William and Kate Middleton may be set to make history, as Kate becomes the newest addition to the Royal Family with a wedding announcement!

Prince William and Kate have been seeing each other for 7 years, so there's no doubt the relationship is solid. "A high-placed source in royal circles tells me that two days in June have been mysteriously blocked out on the palace diaries -- June 3 and 4" according to Tina Brown, who was a friend of Princess Diana and has written extensively about the royal family.

Also Brown said: ""Philip will be 90 in June 2011, and the Queen celebrates her diamond jubilee -- 60 years on the throne -- in February 2012. Their closeness to their grandson, especially Philip, makes them eager, I am told, to see William settled in matrimony."

IF it's true this wedding is sure to be one for the ages, and one to make some high class wedding planners lots of money and notoriety. And tabloid journalists in Britain are sure to be salivating, not to mention jewelers and diamond dealers!

According to the Daily Beast, Prince William is planning to pop the question to his girlfriend of seven years and is expected to make an official announcement this summer. This is from a solid source, said the blog's writer, Tina Brown, who has previously written a biography about her friend, the late Princess Diana.
