The ugly trend of continues of Democrats being the target of violent threats, from theier fellow American citizens.

This time there is a pattern of threats against Congresswoman Patty Murray. Murray represents Washington State and her Seattle office, in her hometown, ,is where she was receiving death threats from a clearly disturbed invididual. The man was making the threats by phone at first just vulgar and angry, but in recent days more and more violent.

Thanks to police investigation the man has now been arrested, and hopefully will be unable to do any harm. And one should be hesitant to blame all right-wingers for the actions of a small minority of unhealthy people. But the increasing pattern of unhealthy people popping up still has to cause concern.

A 64-year-old Washington state man has been charged with threatening to kill U.S. Sen. Patty Murray over her support of the National Health Care Reform Act. The FBI and local police arrested Charles Alan Wilson at his Selah, Wash., home early Tuesday. According to the charges, staffers in Murray's downtown Seattle office had become concerned over a series of phone calls by an unknown man over the past several months. The calls came from a blocked number and often were made in the evenings or on weekends.
