Law and Order Star Expecting Baby!

Alana De La Garza, star of Law & Order, has some happier news than the kind her character usually deals with, as the actress is now expecting her first baby!

According to People magazine, the Law and Order star will give birth later this years, and her pregnancy will be written into the show. She has been a co-star on the NBC stalwart franchise since 2006.

Said De La Garza, "[It's] really exciting especially since Law & Order isn't really a character-driven show, In the season finale there's a scene in a bar and I was joking around with everyone as we were filming, saying, 'Oh, I think tonight's the night Connie gets knocked up!'"
