There's an unlikely new pairing making a lot of noise in the celebrity gossip worldm, and that couple is none other than Scarlett Johansson and Axl Rose of Guns and Roses.

The sexy young actress and the grizzled old rocker have been seen about town a lot lately in NY, caught just this week at a hip spot in Noho.

All indications so far are that they are just buddies, not a romantic couple (whew!) but they are chilling together so often one might start to wonder!

In all seriousness though she seems to be steady in her relationship with actor Ryan Reynolds, and we shouldn't promote any false rumors or whispers.

If Axl and Scarlett want to get some drinks and play ping-pong, who are we to make anything out of it!
