Kate Gosselin: Extensions Shocker!

A colossal news event has shaken the foundations of the reality TV world, as former star of "Jon & Kate Plus 8," Kate Gosselin has revealed a new look that involves brand new hair extensions!

Extensions are usually used to make a woman's hair longer (or a man's, we see you Fabio), but in this case Kate actually put in new extensions that are 4 inches shorter than her previous ones. She got the extensions put in by another reality TV stalwart, Ted Gibson of What Not To Wear. Gosselin is also set to release her third book (she has written three books??) entitled I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith and Family, which will apparently feature prayers, excerpts from her journals, and letters to each of her children.

Breaking news: Kate Gosselin took four inches off of her extensions. Ted Gibson, hairstylist for TLC's What Not To Wear who put the extensions in, tells People.com that Kate came to see him over the weekend for a trim. "Now we thought shoulder length would be ideal - we wanted it to be straight, and sexy and moving."
