Whites-Only Basketball League?

In today's Dumbest Idea Ever news, a foolhardy yman in Georgia says he is trying to start a Whites-only basketball league. But he says it's not racist, he justs wants to play traditional ball. Okay buddy.

The man, who is apparently serious about this and is currently attempting to get the league established, has said he simply wants to start a new league where because "people of white, American-born citizens are in the minority now. Here's a new league for white players to play fundamental basketball, which they like...." Which just makes no type of seriously sense no matter how you look at it. Whether it would even be considered legal to start a league that defines itself as whites-only seems dubious to me, and I doubt many people would ever actually volunteer to join even if they did.

This idea offends so many people on so many levels that I can't believe it will get anywhere: A promoter says he's going to start up a whites-only professional basketball league with teams in 12 Southern cities. And Don "Moose" Lewis says there's nothing hateful about the idea. "I don't hate anyone of color," he told the Augusta Chronicle. "But people of white, American-born citizens are in the minority now.
