Manny Pacquiao: Drugs? Lawsuit?

The beloved boxing champ Manny Pacquiao is threatening to go to court over rumors and allegations that he has been using performance enhancing drugs. The accusations have come from the camp of Floyd Mayweather, another top boxer who was supposed to be fighting Manny soon, but the deal has not come together.

Mayweather's camp has been demanding that Manny do Olympics-style drug testing before they make a deal to fight each other, and the Pacquiao camp is saying they feel as if Mayweather's people are defaming the Filipino champ by insinuating he is a cheater.

Some are saying, or hoping, that this is all part of the pre-fight hype leading up to what would be hyped ass the battle of the century. There is usually some halfway scripted animosity between fighters, but this steroids/drugs controversy seems as if it may have crossed over into real tension, that might ruin the fight. We'll see! I hope it still happens.
