Susan Boyle has told recently of her painful childhood experiences, being left without friends, isolated teased and bullied. But how long ago was this and how old was she? According to best internet sources, Susan was born in 1961, which would make her 48. Boyle shocked the world because apparently nobody believes that a plain looking working class woman could also be talented? I never quite got that whole angle, but nothing against her, she's great!
