A strange meeting of two worlds, as the otherworldly Lady Gaga met the old world elegance of Queen Elizabeth, and what could have been an awkward moment seemed to work out pretty well, as the matriarch of the royal family was quite pleased by the meeting.

Or so it seemed anyway, as the Queen actually broke into giggles as the oddly attired pop diva curtsied for her.
