Kid Cudi Punches Fan, Loses Tour Gig

Kid Cudi, who is a solo artist and was never a member of Lady Gaga's band, despite what certain websites say, did in fact get kicked off of Lady Gaga's tour this month, after punching a fan during the show.

Kid Cudi, the popular rapper who was on the bill as an opening act (again, not a member of Lady Gaga's band) got into the altercation in Vancouver, jumping into the crowd to attack a fan who had thrown something on the stage. Soon after Cudi announced he was leaving the tour "in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments," but many suspected it was really because Lady Gaga doesn't want an opening act who punches fans! Earlier this year, the huge, ambitious Fame Kills tour with Kanye West was canceled for unexplained reasons. So Gaga instead booked her own Monster Ball tour, bringing along Kanye's fellow G.O.O.D. Music rapper Kid Cudi-- who sampled Gaga on his own execrable "Poke Her Face" single-- as her opener. And now Rolling Stone reports that Cudi has dropped off that tour. Maybe it's time for Gaga to call Consequence or GLC!
