why do women always want to do mens roles and join men only clubs ( complex or just ruining the last bastions)

Perhaps women want to join "men-only" clubs b/c those clubs can take members places and because there aren't any women-only clubs. Even cooking and knitting are done by men. I'm not into bra-burning by a long shot, but there is no social activity or occupation I can think of that I believe should be done only by members of one gender. And Ace? Barefoot? Take a woman's shoes and I hope she shoves her bare foot up your a**. Pregnant? Go f**k yourself, then we'll see how quickly YOU can get pregnant. (there was that one guy...) As for staying in the kitchen, I hope that same woman you want always bare foot and f**ked up laces your food. My PLACE as a woman is wherever I go. What's good for me is good for you. :)

Too, maybe those men only clubs and bastions were originally men-only just because it was believed that only men were physically capable. As such, a woman joining a bastion is not "ruining" it, any more than a black man choosing to play baseball is "ruining" the game, or a man choosing to cook is "ruining" the culinary occupation. A woman joining a men only club or bastion does so because she wants to, we're supposed to have equal rights, and she is fully capable of doing what the man next to her is doing. The sooner men as a whole see women as people, instead of as weaker beings to be dominated, the sooner I think a lot of this world's social and economical can be solved.

It is funny that they keep the female ravens there but this is to make sure the species never leaves ha ha!!!!!

i see this as a good step after all a woman has been the head of the country for a long time. so lets just get rid of all the inequality and repression. i'm a straight white male yet i get over looked for a firefighter, a police officer , hec even a position with a garbage company run in fear from the slightest hint of the word descrimination. if you can do the job who cares if your a man, woman, immigrent , black, brown, yellow...gay or straight. the most sucessfull person is the best selection. so all the power to Moira. I went for a bra fitter job in a large department store and was told the job was only for women?!? Go figure!

We know Beefeaters don't really eat meat, but most of them are partial to a bit of muff now and then.

I'd bet the men who are the instigators are doing so out of fear of being shown up and out classed by a woman. I witnessed a similar situation and the people that protested the most were the three that were the laziest, crassest, and most ill mannered ones of our group. Everyone else either tried to mind their own business or tried to be helpful inspite of the others.

I was just at the Tower of London last summer. I would be horrified to think that, possibly, our male Beefeater guide at that time may be part of the bad treatment toward the new female guide today. I hope not. If I found that out, I doubt I would visit the Tower again.
