Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev Reducing Time Zones


Russia has always been known as the widest country in the world, that covers the most time zones. but now they have a plan that calls for Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev reducing time tones so that business and trade in the country can run more efficiently.

The country of Russia stretches from Moscow on one end of the world to Vladivostok on the other, with 7 time zones in between. But under Medvedev's new plan, that would be reduced to only 4 time zones. In related news, New York City is trying to get another time zone added to America for themselves, so they can see Tv shows before everybody else.

In one spot, the article indicates that Russia has 11 time zones, and in another spot it claims that Russia has 7 time zones. Which is it? I suspect that reference to 11 times zones is grossly in error.

There are 11 Time Zones according to "Russian Time Zones Map".

Read exactly what it states...7 time zones between 2 points hence between Moscow & Vladivostok. The 11 time zones are between the 2 points of Kliningrad & Chukotka which are the furthest distance between the western and eastern portions of their country.

ToxDoc this is a relavent question. Are dingleberries to be or not to be? should they be allowed to cling to your grundle? what would putin say? . an eclipse of the great celestial brown star would indicate that itis time for a gentle dabbing with a wet nap. breathe deeply and savor the musty bouquet. there should also be considerations for your skivvies a slight discoloration is no cause for great concern but if they retain their shape after removal then a chiropracter should be consulted. always remember the motto of boy scouts "wipe twice"

i crack myself up BTW russia would probably bennifet from lees time zones .
our comrades should not be trivialzed they are rich in natural resources that we will one day need to exploit. Imagine alaska times about 20
