September 22, 2009Obama & Letterman VIDEO
In case you missed it, here is the video of President Obama & Letterman on CBS last night. you can judge for yourself but I thought it was an excellent interview, and David Letterman was the perfect man to interview Obama. He has the perfect dry & understated wit, and ability to think seriously when the occasion calls for it. They touched on a wide range of topics, including the ecconomy, health care & insurance reform and the questions of racism towards his presidency (on which I felt he gave a somewhat political answer but I suppose this is inevitable). Overall Obama and Letterman both performed well, and it's worth watching in its entirety. Posted at September 22, 2009 3:49 AM Comments
Hello, The health care industry has the American public by the balls. Now they are squeezing just like the fuel companies did last winter & plan to do again this winter. Health care should be coverage across the board for everyonr just like it is for all the politicians. They all get their coveraage for free at taxpayers expense. Force all the insurance companies to cover all of us at a lower rate. This whole country is going down the tubes in a hurry. Maybe the capitalistic way is not the answer, too much greed. Posted by: JB at September 23, 2009 10:53 AM What most people seem not to understand is, a President is limited in scope. In America Money talks and Money Walks. Obama with his measly 2.5 million dollars is like trying to bail water from Lake Michigan with a themble. Like All Presidents in history, Obama has to bow to the Real Power. Big Corp., Big Finance, ect., ect. But if he can get the Power of Both Halls of congress to go along he could buck the trend. However as an African American the ODDS are near over powering. But for the good of America, sticking with the leadership of its Commander in Chief would be the reasonable thing do. The Whole World is looking in and seeing an ever divided America, and thats a BIG sign of WEAKNESS. And these Far Right Wingnuts have no clue of what the implications are. GOD bless AMERICA ?? Maybe, Maybe not. Posted by: H. Archer at September 25, 2009 9:56 PM Post a comment |
