September 9, 2009Melanie Oudin: Quarterfinals Bound!
New US tennis sensation Melanie Oudin continues her cinderella run at the US Open, as she is now throughto the quarterfinals! The 17-year-old Oudin (whose boyfriend is 15!) has set the country on fire with her quick ascent to the top of the tennis world, putting on a great show with her scrappy emotional style of play, and showing incredible tennis skill and athleticism at such a young age. America hasn't had a real top tennis star rise in quite some time, so Melanie Oudin could be the next big thing. Here's hoping she makes a good run of it in this 2009 US Open!
