National Parks Waive Entrance Fees


If you're looking for a weekend adventure as summer comes to a close, here is your scoop! This weekend, August 15 and 16, many of America's beautiful National Parks will waive their entry fees and let you see the splendor of nature for free.

Check here for a full list of the National Parks that will waive entry fees this weekend. A great opportunity to let the whole family remember what precious resources we have in nature. (and I don't mean precious for drilling!)

They further open up spectacular properties such as California's Yosemite National Park, which ordinarily charges $20 entry per car, and sweeps aside the $15 fee for entering Virginia's Shenandoah National Park and the $15 for the Lake Powell/Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, in Utah...

It seems very ironic that the weekend when the Grand Canyon is free admission is the same weekend that Obama and his family are visiting there. The news has already reported road closings and delays because of security there.
