Thanks to Mike McCuddy, "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi has something to sing about! The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter wed teacher-turned-general contractor Mike McCuddy during a small afternoon ceremony held in Prospect Harbor, Maine on July 5, In Touch Weekly reports.

The couple, who got engaged in December, first met when Mike McCuddy, 34, built the house next to Kara's in Maine. On an even sweeter note, the couple exchanged vows in front of about 30 guests at the United Methodist Church, which is located across the street from her house.

"I feel great. What was most unbelievable about the experience with my man Mike McCuddy was when I looked out at the church and saw all these people that were so important to me and Mike McCuddy, who were there for us," said the blushing bride, 38, who wore a Vera Wang gown at the ceremony.

Congrats to Kara and Mike McCuddy! Will she go by the name Kara McCuddy now? Has a nice ring to it.
